Adaptive evolution drives divergence of a hybrid inviability gene between two species of Drosophila
Article Abstract:
The authors have investigated gene which causes epistatic inviability in hybrids between Drosophila species. The results of the population genetics analysis have indicated that this gene encodes nuclear pore protein, and that it has evolved via positive natural selection in the species' lineages.

The battle between the sexes
Article Abstract:
The author discusses the study of male-female conflict which is responsible for rapid evolution. The conflict has led to female refusal to mate with males from other populations creating biodiversity generation's sexual conflict.
