Bose Einstein condensation of quasi-equilibrium magnons at room temperature under pumping
Article Abstract:
The observation of Bose-Einstein condensation in a gas of magnons at room temperature is reported. Experiments, which show that it is possible to create a gas of quasi-equilibrium magnons with non-zero chemical potential, are presented, and it is shown that with increasing pumping intensitythe chemical potential reaches energy of the lowest magnon state, and a Bose condensate of magnons is formed.

Coherent questions
Article Abstract:
Studies have claimed that Bose-Einstein condensation, which occurs when many particles enter into the same coherent quantum state, occur in various systems of quasiparticles in solids. Results of two studies conducted by extending the concept of Bose-Einstein condensation to two different types of quasiparticles in solids, have raised questions of terminology used in theory to define the concept.

Cavity QED with a Bose-Einstein condensate
Article Abstract:
The Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC)-cavity system in a fully quantized theoretical model which yields the eigenenergies of the coupled system is described. The system could provide insight into quantum communications among gases with cavity-mediated interactions.
