Consistency of personality traits in dogs
Article Abstract:
The consistency of behavior over repeated tests in 1-2 years old dogs, Canis familiaris, is investigated. Results indicate that playful, social, exploratory, avoidant and aggressive behavior in dogs is influenced by stable dispositions, such as personality traits, that seem to be important during the evolution of the domestic dog.
