Designing Large-Scale Conservation Corridors for Pattern and Process
Article Abstract:
Seven conservation corridors in South Africa are identified via habitat degradation and transformation, subtropical thicket representation, irreplaceability of types of vegetation, wildlife suitability, future land-use pressures, and protected area networks. A model is derived from this process that can be implemented for other conservation efforts.

An environmental domain classification of New Zealand and its use as a tool for biodiversity management
Article Abstract:
A numerical classification made up of explicit spatial layers is used to describe New Zealand's landforms and climate, in contrast to qualitative land-classification methods, to improve conservation priority determinations.
