Designing Large-Scale Conservation Corridors for Pattern and Process

Article Abstract:

Seven conservation corridors in South Africa are identified via habitat degradation and transformation, subtropical thicket representation, irreplaceability of types of vegetation, wildlife suitability, future land-use pressures, and protected area networks. A model is derived from this process that can be implemented for other conservation efforts.
