Experimental physics, experimental art
Article Abstract:
The creativity observed while artists and particle physicists were brought together to exchange ideas is discussed. The concept of Signatures of the Invisible, which became a discourse between artists and particle physicists, was motivated by the belief that artistic practice cannot derive from subjectivity alone, but demands engagement between the artist's intra-psychic processes and the external world.

In pursuit of systems
Article Abstract:
The term 'system biology' is an intellectual challenge to scientists as it couples the acquisition of comprehensive, high-definition data sets to the construction of quantities models and computer simulation. The results indicate that 'system biology' generates infrastructures, and 'system biology' institutes, departments and initiatives are springing up across the globe.

'Lophenteropneust' hypothesis refuted by collection and photos of new deep-sea hemichordates
Article Abstract:
The first collected specimen of a broad-collared, deep-sea enteropneust is described as a new family, genus and species. No evidence of tentacles was found in the available deep-sea photographs and hence the lophenteropneust hypothesis was based on misinterpretation of deep-sea photographs of low quality.
