Reproductive skew in the Australian allodapine bee Exoneura robusta

Article Abstract:

The restraint model and the tug-of-war model are compared and contrasted in the delineation of reproductive skew among Exoneura robusta bee populations. Evidence is presented to support both models, suggesting that reproductive partitioning in cooperative animal societies is dynamic and that the two models are not mutually exclusive.

No preference for exaggerated courtship signals in a sensory trap
