Crystal symmetry and the reversibility of martensitic transformations
Article Abstract:
Martensitic transformations are diffusionless, solid-to-solid phase transitions characterized by a rapid change of crystal structure, which develops a rich microstructure. This transformation is shown using mathematical theory and numerical simulation.

Crystal structure of the calcium pump with a bound ATP analogue
Article Abstract:
Ion concentration gradients across cell organelle membranes are established by ATP-powered ion pumps. These ion concentration gradients form a key phosphorylated intermediate in the reaction cycle.
