Yellowstone to Yukon
Article Abstract:
Animal travel patterns through the northern Rocky Mountains suggest if humans do not manage the ecosystem as a whole, many species will become extinct. Wolves, grizzly bears, golden eagles and other animals travel widely through the northern Rocky Mountains, in and out of protected areas. Environmental organization have developed a coalition plan they call the Yellowstone to Yukon Biodiversity Strategy to create connections between national parks and wilderness areas for animals to travel. The US and Canada will need to cooperate to implement this strategy.
