Major area agency sold to Euro firm

Euro RSCG Worldwide, a holding firm which owns eight other advertising agencies in the United States, is buying Berwyn, PA-based Devon Direct Marketing and Advertising Agency Inc, one of the biggest advertising agencies in Philadelphia, PA. The European owner will retain Devon Direct's 165 employees as well as the latter's name and location. Devon Direct's clients include Fleet Financial and Network Solutions.

Berry and Homer merges with Florida Co

Philadelphia, PA-based Berry and Homer Inc. is merging with Synergy Photographic and Imaging. The consolidation combines Synergy's exceptional technical expertise in photographic processing and imaging with Berry and Homer's established professionalism in 100 years of commercial photofinishing services. The new full-service photographic laboratory will operate under the Berry and Homer brand.

Berry & Homer to stay here forever: nation's oldest imaging co. sold to major British firm

Article Abstract:

Photobition Group plc has acquired Philadelphia, PA-based Berry and Homer for $6.5 million-worth in cash and stocks. The acqusition is part of the business strategy by the UK-based display graphics supplier to develop a US network. Berry and Homer, which is one of the nation's largest and oldest imaging companies, posted net operating profits of $253,262 on sales of $8,742,697 in FY 1999.
