The Bala Cynwyd, PA-based company claims that it has successfully developed custom packages specifically designed for small business wanting to place radio or television ads on a limited budget. The media consultants involved with MediaBuying include Debra L McCray, formerly with Arthur Andersen Co, and Brenda J Fisher, who has 20 years background in marketing.

Phila. Enterprise magazine in Chapter 11 bankruptcy

Philadelphia Enterprise Inc, based in King of Prussia, PA, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer. Despite the voluntary Chapter 11 petition, Philadelphia Enterprise publisher Mark Racliffe said publishing will continue and the next issue of Philadelphia Enterprise magazine will be out in mid-Oct 2000. Racliffe added that the Chapter 11 filing will not affect the firm's operations as well as its relationship with customers, vendors or suppliers.
