Arcon in an argument

Article Abstract:

Arcon shares can be used to illustrate point and figure charting. The company was first called Conroy and was a petroleum company that discovered zinc in Ireland. The discovery led to a share price rise but it was then realised that extracting the zinc involved investment and permission was also needed. The company has had two stakes acquired by Tony O'Reilly, the second for cash and leading to a share price rise. Point and figure charting focuses on large moves and indicates that Arcon's shares have potential for patient investors.

Emerald man

Article Abstract:

Tests have shown a carved emerald figurine to be Mesoamerica's oldest known emerald artifact. The stone is similar to figures from Guerrero, Mexico, dated approximately between 900 and 600 B.C., and shows marks of a hand tool used without magnification. Origin of the emerald is not known, but it may come from Muzo, Colombia. The figurine was bequeathed to the University of Maine's Hudson Museum.

We want to be alone: let Staten Island go, then dump the rest of the state. We have nothing to lose, but whining moochers

Article Abstract:

Manhattan, NY should become independent, perhaps become a city state like Hong Kong. The federal government takes $8 bil more in taxes than it returns. Staten Island joined the city to get services like sewers. It is time to part. Other boroughs and Albany, the capital, should be shed too.
