Excavations at Zhaoling, Shaanxi, China

Article Abstract:

The excavations at the Zhaoling in Shaanxi province of China and it's reports are briefly published. The six stone horse reliefs, which proved as an archaeological evidence of the carving skills and the important historical connections of horses to the Emperor Taizing, has been one among the masterpieces of Chinese art history.

A masterpiece in clay; a Han house model reflects traditional Chinese life

Article Abstract:

Evidence about traditional Chinese architecture and funerary practices given by the model of a Han Dynasty house in the University of Pennsylvania Museum is described.This dynasty ruled between 206 BC and AD 221. Since the tomb furnishings often replicated objects from daily life, they give considerable information.

Excavations at the upper Lovett Campsite, Alberta

Article Abstract:

A study of excavations at the Upper Lovett Campsite demonstrates that Canada's native people not only lived along the Rockies' Eastern Slopes but also quite far to the north extending well back over 5,000 years.
