Article Abstract:

Joseph Wegner, the associate curator in the Egyptian section, is very much interested in Egyptology and his awareness of the significant Egyptian collections at the museum, made him become a double major in Egyptology and anthropology. Middle kingdom research at Abydos is his focus of professional career and he anticipates that this will be a lifetime pursuit and is looking forward to numerous productive field seasons and exiting discoveries.
