A place for painful design?

Article Abstract:

A variety of furniture designs, ranging from traditional designs to modern pieces of artifact, were displayed in the 5th Annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) organized by the Jacob Javits Center in New York. Companies with innovative furniture designs had also participated in the exhibition. The ICFF seminars encouraged people to buy in contracts and advised the contract furniture industry to take initiative in making new designs. Formica's Nuvel design and Green Design's easy to assemble (ETA) were the most appreciated designs at the furniture fair.

Filing solutions

Article Abstract:

Electronics manufacturer Meridian Corp has upgraded its Electronic File System which is used for organizing and storing confidential documents. The previous model was operated with a hand-held programming unit which allowed the operator to key in a code to access a file. The improved system can now be linked with a computer, thus enabling the file base to be programmed into the computer for more efficient management. The new system provides greater security for highly confidential documents.
