Wynkoops' home in Red Bank, NJ, is filled with elegant antiques that were collected from various parts of the globe when she and her husband Burson Wynkoops were involved in the cruise line trade. Highlights of their collection include a four-poster bed from Jamaica and wall murals by Zuber.

A natural approach to history

Lexington Furniture has produced a collection of furnishings that faithfully reproduce the styles of early American furniture. Designed by Bob Timberlake, the pieces in the collection feature simple but sturdy lines, graceful turns and the rich grains that characterize early American furniture.

Making a fresh start

The town of Wethersfield, CT, is known for its fine Colonial architecture and its historic atmosphere. One of its most elegant houses is a two-storey structure that dates back to 1791. Known as the Newberry house, it has been restored and remodeled by noted designer Holly Holden.
