Expanding a farmhouse in Pennsylvania
Article Abstract:
Architects succeeded in expanding a mid-19th century farmhouse in Pennsylvania, while retaining its original facade. Two wings were added at the back of the Georgian-style farmhouse, as well as a paneled library with a fireplace for the owners' collection of fine books and manuscripts.

Article Abstract:
Muralist Thomas L. Rose turned the farmhouse he bought in Hadlyme, CN, into a display of his artistry by painting its walls. Two of the subjects that Rose used on his wall paintings are Chinese pottery-making and a scenery showing the Connecticut River.
