Article Abstract:

Fruitful collaboration between design firm Brininstool + Lynch and its woman client resulted in a vacation house that would be in harmony with nature. The client wanted a design that would be contemporary and would connect with her roots in Vermont. Brininstool came up with a house that would leave as little impact as possible on the surroundings near Lake Michigan. The one-story house has a floor area of 2,000 sq. ft. with a three-sided fireplace that opens onto the living room, master bedroom and porch.

Article Abstract:

Hut Sachs Studio utilized the aesthetic power of color and generous lighting in the design of BB Dakota Sportswear store in New York City. The architecture features a 'collage wall' made up of dress patterns on tracing paper, a 1,000-square-foot box with a pivoting wall, and mobile tables. The creativity of the exhibit not only enhanced the display of trendy clothes but also provided a cheap and fast alternative to showroom designs.
