Navajo artistry

Article Abstract:

Fine colorful rugs woven by the women of the Navajo tribe of New Mexico and Arizona are shown. Weaving is an art handed down by the Navajos for generations. The rugs are valued highly and command steep prices, particularly those woven before the classic period of 1875.

Scientists are puzzled about the eastern coyote, which has many traits of the wolf. The two may have interbred. The evolution and behavior of coyotes is examined. They are intelligent and cunning animals who will adapt to their surroundings.
