Transparent form: a display system defines an open yet intimate store in an atrium

Article Abstract:

Dario Tainer of Tainer Associates designed the interior for Belle Rose, a rose shop in a Chicago office tower. Tainer had to overcome the problem that the store was situated in an atrium, so he chose a glass interior with a display system of metal trusses from Italy called Cuccagna by Porada Arredi. The store serves as a flagship for the other planned stores of the Ecuadoran rose importer who owns Belle Rose.
