Food wholesalers industry

Article Abstract:

The gross domestic product (GDP) for the US is expected to expand at a rate of 2.5% in 1998, and GDP is also forecast to expand in 1999 and through the years 2001-2003, also. The food wholesalers industry will have decent sales and earnings for this period, although the competition among wholesaless is not expected to abate. There are few timely stocks in this industry, but some may be of interest to conservative investors.

"Healthy" foods that may fool you

Article Abstract:

Fish, pasta, and olive oil may not provide as many health benefits as previously thought. Fish does not seem to prevent heart disease any better when eaten several times a week. Pasta can be high in calories, and olive oil is not better than polyunsaturated oil.
