Article Abstract:

Reg and Maggie Green's 7-year-old son was shot to death in their car as they drove through the Italian countryside on Sep 29, 1994. Deciding to donate his organs was not a difficult decision for the couple, but it astonished much of the public, and they became national heros in Italy.
