A conversation with Virginia Johnson

The much-loved ballerina Virginia Johnson was a charter member of the Dance Theatre of Harlem, which she joined in 1969, where she has performed a wide range of principal roles. She speaks about her childhood, career, and on the challenges she had to face for being a young African-American ballet dancer.
