Central Coast Space Frontier Society

Article Abstract:

The Central Coast Space Frontier Society is a relatively new chapter that was formed after hearing Apollo astronaut Dave Scott speak. It serves all family member and no babysitters are needed. The organization won the NSS Chapter of the Year award for 2000 for its internal and external activities.

The role of commercial space activity to an extraterrestrial-based human space colony is undeniable but few comprehend the implications behind the government's shift away from space activity funding. This development has led to a significant change in the rationale for space activity.
