Article Abstract:

The National Space Society brought their campaign for more government support for space programs to the Democratic National Convention. The group voiced out their belief that the US will be able to explore Mars by the first decade of the 21st century. It voiced support for politicians who would be supportive of space programs. Incidentally, the Republicans did not allow the group to participate in their convention.
