Article Abstract:

The missions aboard the space shuttles Columbia and Atlantis started the summer shuttle season for 1992. The June 25th Columbia mission, which lasted for 14 days, was considered as the longest recorded shuttle flight. Similarly, the Atlantis mission was also a success even though the Tethered Satellite System experiments were not fully accomplished.
