2005 Subaru Outback 2.5XT Limited: Turbocharging and elegant new styling put the Outback back out front

The 2005 Subaru Outback 2.5XT Limited, road tested in the Sierra Nevada, has a 250-hp turbocharged engine, which is an intercooled turbo version of the flat-four engine. It is found to be a combination of elegance and performance with a 250 lb-ft torque, 250 bhp power and a top speed of 130mph.
