The new Nissan Altima SE-R offers a more traditional ride-versus-handling trade-off than the Acura TSX and is equipped with V-6 that performs in a clean, nicely appointed and commodious package. The new car, priced at $30,890, features a top speed of 141mph, 6-speed manual transmission, power of 260 bhp, torque of 251 lb-ft at 3600 rpm and wheelbase of 110.2 inches.
