Each other: between us (not we) two: each or one another
Article Abstract:
There is confusion in the usage of the phrases `each other' and `one another.' The New York Times Manual of Style clearly differentiates between the two. `Each other' denotes two persons looking at each other. `One another' refers to more than two persons looking at one another. It is the same for `between' and `among.' Style in language is, however, flexible since it depends upon a set of acceptable conventions that are not rigid rules.
