Defining the organisation: the process of ABC

Article Abstract:

The Bayside City Council decided to implement an accounting program that uses activity based costing (ABC). The process of implementing ABC by the council yielded several insights, including the need to have a strong communications structure and the advantages of using an ABC software model.
