The inheritance of female colour morphs in the damselfly Ceriagrion tenellum (Odonata, Coenagrionidae)

Article Abstract:

Many female damselflies show color variations. Half of all European genera display this polymorphism. The progeny of virgin females were mated in the laboratory and 13 crosses were examined. The frequencies of female morphs in natural populations has been discovered to be highly variable, but for all populations the phenotype typica is the most common.

Genetic diversity in the monospecific Western Australian endemic, Geleznowia verrucosa Turcz. (Rutacae)

Article Abstract:

Small- and large-flowered forms of the yellow bells shrub in Western Australia represent separate taxa. Research was conducted at 16 loci across 16 populations of this endemic shrub. Intermediate-form populations and greater heterozygosity are probably hybrids produced by a series of hybrid forms between large and small forms.
