Paul Nurse, a graduate from the University of East Anglia, decided to study cell division for better understanding of life and also won the 2001 Nobel Prize for his work on the cell cycle control. He continues his study on cell cycle and is now focusing on the shape of the cell, as it can be relevant in understanding cancer.
