Detection and visualization of ab exopolysaccharide produced by Xylella fastidiosa in vitro and in planta

Article Abstract:

Polyclonal antibodies are raised against a modified xanthan gum polymer that is similar to the Xylella fastidiosa exopolysaccharide (EPS) polymer, which is quantified by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Immunolocalization microscopy is used for examining the distribution of Xanthomonas fastidiosa EPS in biofilms formed in vitro and in planta.

First evidence of division and accumulation of viable but nonculturable pseudomonas fluorescens cells on surfaces subjected to conditions encountered at meat processing premises

Article Abstract:

The research report designed to model the gradual accumulation of culturable and non culturable flora on a surface in order to explore the phenomena that lead to the establishment of such resident flora. This investigation is expected to support the construction of mathematical model.
