PI3K pathway regulates survival of cancer stem cells residing in the perivascular niche following radiation in medulloblastoma in vivo

Article Abstract:

Several modular studies are conducted to explain the different behaviors and responses of the tumors to the treatment therapies. The results of the analysis prove that the PI3K pathway highly helps in the regulation of the survival of the cancer stem cells residing in the perivascular niche in medulloblastoma in an individual.

HLA-B-associated transcript 3 (Bat3)/scythe is essential for p300-mediated acetylation of p53

Article Abstract:

The post-translational DNA damage response requires acetylation of p53. The acetylation is positively regulated by the HLA-B-associated transcript 3 (Bat3)/Scythe which forms a complex with p300 as proved by the mutation studies.

Liver tumors escape negative control of proliferation via PI3K/Akt-mediated block of C/EBP alpha growth inhibitory activity

Article Abstract:

Normal hepatocytes that escape negative control of proliferation lead to tumor cells. Activation of the PI3K/Akt pathway in live tumor cells block the growth inhibitory activity of C/EPP alpha.
