PTH/PTHrP receptor delays chondrocyte hypertrophy via both Runx2-dependent and -independent pathways

Article Abstract:

The role of parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) in controlling overgrowth of chondrocytes through pathways dependent and independent on the transcription factor, Runx2 in mice is studied.

Post-implantation mouse conceptuses produce paracrine signals that regulate the uterine endometrium undergoing decidualization

Article Abstract:

A study on rodents, to understand the effect of embryo implantation on mammalian uterine gene expressions, is presented. Conceptus molecular signals are found to alter decidual cell functions.
