Snyder, sludge fighter

Article Abstract:

Several state residents were claiming that recycled sewage sludge, also known as biosolid was damaging their health. Environmental scientist, Caroline Snyder published a paper in the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health (IJOEH) wherein she claimed that the Environmental Protection Agency forged an alliance with municipalities and sludge-management companies with the primary purpose to control the flow of scientific information, manipulate public opinion, and cover up problems.

Biotech horsekeepers

Article Abstract:

Research work and development was conducted at Otisville since 1906 of antibodies in horse to rabbit serum globulin. The 10,000-square foot Otisville Complex originally owned as a municipal sanitarium for tuberculosis by the New York City Department of Health was taken over by Breonics in 2001. However, since the cost of caring for the horses increased to $200,000 per year, Breonics refused to continue to take responsibility for their care and were subsequently sued by New York City.
