Survival of clinical and poultry-derived isolates of Campylobacter jejuni at a low temperature (4 degrees C)

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on the Campylobacter jejuni, a cause of bacterial gastroenteritis in humans. The ability of C. jejuni isolates to tolerate prolonged exposure to low temperatures has been investigated.

An improved cloning vector for construction of gene replacement in Listeria monocytogenes

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on gene replacement. The authors describe their use of plasmid vector pGF-EM which can be transferred from Escherichia coli S17-1 to Listeria monocytogenes, and which serves as genetic means to select gene replacement.

Transposon-induced mutations in two loci of Listeria monocytogenes serotype 1/2a result in phage resistance and lack of N-acetylglucosamine in the teichoic acid of the cell wall

Article Abstract:

Research is conducted on Listeria monocytogenes serotype 1/2a phage-resistant mutant construction and inactivated loci identification. Experiments indicate mutation impact on the teichoic acid composition and cell wall components.
