Big pharmaceutical companies are stagnating as they are facing strong challenge from small pharma and biotech companies. It is recommended to the pharmaceutical companies to follow the example of Hollywood to focus on core areas and develop and attract talent.

Does DNA damage cause cancer?

Article Abstract:

The cellular responses to DNA damage that are activated early in precancerous lesions suggest that a tumor suppressor triggered by oncogenic disruption of the cell cycle and not DNA-damage response is sufficient to activate p53.
