X trisomy in an infertile bitch: Cytogenetic, anatomic, and histologic studies

Article Abstract:

A cytogenetic, anatomic and histoligic study of a new case of trisomy X in an infertile bitch was undertaken. The bitch died suddenly one year after they cytogenetic examination due to gastritis hemorrhagica. Histologica sections of the ovaries showed normal structure. Domestic animals having monosomy X or trisomy XXY are usually infertile.

Chromosomal differentiation of Hyla nana and Hyla sanborni (Anura, Hylidae) with a description of NOR polymorphism in H. nana

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on Hyla nana and Hyla sanborni specimens. The authors have investigated these specimens cytogenetically, and they report that chromosomal morphology of these species is different from that of the populations from other georgaphic regions.

Two cases of infertile bitches with 78,XX/77,X mosaic karyotype: a need for cytogenetic evaluation of dogs with reproductive disorders

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on mosaic karyotype 78,XX/77,X found in infertile dogs. The authors describe the cytogenetic study carried out on the metaphase spreads via the use of Giemsa staining, chromosome painting and C-banding approaches.
