The instructional golf video market is big business in Australia, and successful titles probably turn over more than $1 million in retail sales. Festival Video distributes eight instructional titles through mass-market retailers. Each title has turned over more than $100,000. The biggest golf-instructional video in Australia is "Greg Norman's Better Golf," a 90-minute interactive package. The average price for a golf video in Australia is $25.

Aussie cossies lure US Internet surfers

Absolut Beach is a Sydney-based swimwear manufacturer selling almost exclusively via the internet, and it is reaching $200,000 per year in sales, a figure expected to increase to $20 million within five years. Fifty percent of their product is exported, 95% of which is sold to Americans.
