A new brand of valuation

Article Abstract:

Different methods of measuring a brand' s dollar value and their application are discussed. It enables the companies to track brand equity. The valuation method evolved by the international branding company, Interbrand and the global marketing company, Young & Rubicam in Australia, that have gained strong recognition locally and globally, is also presented.

Australia's McDonald's Corporation's unique management approaches has helped the company overcome turbulent times. In September 2004, the company accounted for a total of $2 billion sales. Apart from this, the company has launched Deli Choices, new kind of toasted rolls, is increasing it's McCafe coffee outlets and is also renovating all its stores.
