Beyond Advertising, an agency based in Sydney, Australia, handles worldwide advertising for Uwatec, a Swiss company that makes Aladin, a dive computer. During the five years from 1993 to 1998, Uwatec spent $1.5 million on ads designed by Beyond for magazines, catalogs and Internet sites. Although Uwatec was acquired by Johnson Worldwide Associates, Beyond continues to create ads for Aladin.

Old favorite scrubs up for a comeback

Advertising agency Euro RSCG and household products firm Reckitt and Colman teamed up to revamp Reckitt's Mr Sheen furniture polish brand. Although the brand enjoys high name recognition, its familiarity risked consumer inattention. To update public perception without jeopardizing integrity, Mr Sheen packaging was converted to popular trigger packs in a new color.
