A survey for their thoughts

Article Abstract:

Small businesses must maintain high quality standards in servicing customers to retain or increase their market share. Employees must participate in the process of formulating plans and solving problems to encourage them in providing services for improving customer satisfaction. Employee surveys help managers assess employee orientation towards work, management and customer services. Surveys give the company an evaluative tool for determining employee understanding and loyalty to the business.

Financing the golden years

Article Abstract:

Increased governmental regulations has resulted in the decline of traditional pension plans. The 401(k) retirement plan is a viable alternative to post-retirement financing due to its flexibility and cost effectiveness. The plan allows employees to select their contribution amounts, and employers to determine their matching contribution levels. The plan also provides for deferred tax payment.
