Account based forecasting at Nabisco Biscuit Company

Article Abstract:

Nabisco Biscuit Co was able to solve its finished product distribution requirements through the use of account-based forecasting. The technique allows the company to align its supply-chain network with its sales force as the technique allows the company to release the right amounts of products for full execution of promotions. The technique also allows the company to shift from a push supply chain to a pull supply chain.
