Accountants moving into advisory work

The growth of Sealcorp Holdings, a group of professional financial services businesses and accountancy support services, is an indication of how quickly the accounting profession is moving into financial planning. Sealcorp's financial advisers increased 40%, including 250 accountants in Sealcorp's Pact adviser group for accountants. One function of Pact is to train public accountants to enter the financial planning business. Success rate in the diploma of financial planning exam is about 95%.
