An Oxford Accent for Thomson's Managers

Article Abstract:

An independent management program was developed around the specific needs of a company. This concept is a radical break from traditional educational thinking. There is a need for managers to undergo ongoing training and development. A review was developed to secure and screen a new generation of top management who could replace senior operators. The process was extended over two years. A detailed review is now underway to determine its future direction. The results of the program are still unclear.
