An empirical examination of market orientation in Saudi Arabian manufacturing companies

Article Abstract:

The market orientation scale and scales of other constructs when applied to a study of Saudi Arabian manufacturing firms showed lack of reliability and validity. This may be attributed to their modifications of the original scales. Inadequate internal consistency of the scale of top management risk aversion is also attributed to the fact that the way Saudi Arabian managers perceive risk is different from the risk perception of their Western counterparts.
