An examination of collaboration in high-technology new product development processes

Article Abstract:

Business enterprises must underscore the adoption of cross-functional collaboration approach in managing new product development (NPD) processes in order to optimize their market success, particularly in high-technology settings. Allowing cross-functional teams to work collaboratively does not only induce them to participate aggressively in management activities but also maintain a considerable focus on the firm's goals and objectives. This approach further motivates employees to come up with their best performance and invigorate their creativity.
