An integrated model of Hoshin Management and Six Sigma in high-tech firms

Article Abstract:

A case study of Inventec Multimedia & Telecom Corporation (IMT), a high technology company, was used to develop a quality management model that would include features of both Six Sigma and Hoshin Management. The model improves the Hoshin management and it consequently resolves problems in Six Sigma's auditing and deployment by incorporating the Six Sigma program into the Hoshin implementation scheme.
