Assessing the effects of operational process and information systems on inventory performance

Article Abstract:

A structural equation model, is developed to evaluate the impact of enterprise-wide information systems, along with four operational processes, on manufacturing firm's inventory processes. The results indicate, that use of just-in-time (JIT) operation processes, help to meet improved performance objective.
