Maurice Roussety is appointed as chief executive officer of a Melbourne financial planning and business services company IFR. He is an undischarged bankrupt accountant, whose company collapsed in 2002 owing over 14 million dollar. This is a breach of the corporations act and is referred to the complaints area of the Australian Securities and Investment Commissions (ASIC).

Details relating to the software piracy case filed by Business Software Association of Australia (BSAA) against CLA Trading, Australia's franchise of a reputed car hire company, Europcar are presented. An out-of-court settlement, under which CLA Trading paid $200,000 to BSAA, is being publicized by BSAA as a deterrent measure against software piracy.
